Hey Sam, While I have no doubt that you have been successfully running FRx on 64-bit system, I do have a question from support perspective. Have you been through a situation where you needed any kind of support on FRx and Microsoft was able to help or share useful insights? Our real concern is that FRx will be replaced by MR (Management Reporter) in about year's time and we would need to convert all the FRx reports to MR reports. Hi Manish Hi Manish, Well first off, I have not had to use Microsoft for FRx support, but they have been really helpful with any Business Portal or SL questions I have, so I have no doubts that they would be helpful with FRx. As for the transition I can understand the concern for moving forward as it appears that FRx will no longer be used. It will be used for at the very least this year and during the year you can start converting your reports to MR reports (I have not worked with Management Reporter yet).

Honestly though I think Management Reporter will be a lot nicer to use as it is SQL based over FRx being Access based. You are going to need to move forward eventually and you can always use Crystal to create a report, so I would leave FRx on a virtual machine as a just in case. We know that computers aren't perfect and everything just doesn't 'work', so find us an alternative to use instead of arbitrarily complaining.
